At D. R. Amin Memorial School, we believe that a child's education is the foundation for learning and achievement throughout life.

The D R Amin Memorial School logo uses a form of the banyan tree which is apt as we are in the banyan city of Vadodara. Moreover, it is said that Lord Buddha attained enlightenment sitting underneath a banyan tree, also referred to as the wish-fulfilling divine tree.

A school uniform gives an exclusive identity to students and promotes a feeling of unity and discipline amongst them. Uniform will be introduced from Foundation onwards.

Smt Barkha Amin - Over the past years, I have been involved directly in the undertakings of the trust.

Biniti Trivedi (M Sc, B Ed ) - It has been an honour to work with Uday Education Society and Bal Utkarsh Society for the past 16 years.

Smt Supriya Patel - Bal Utkarsh Society is a renowned trust which has been imparting education for almost 60 years, and it is indeed a privilege to serve as Principal to D.R. Amin Memorial School. I have been tremendously fortunate to have been a part of Alembic Group of Schools for more than 20 years now.

Growing from a teacher to a Vice Principal has gradually given me the insight of education – which is not cramming or giving out facts, but application of knowledge in daily life.

When parents come and say that my child reminds me to not litter or not cross the red light, do not leave the tap open, or switch off the fan when not needed, that is when I feel proud that our school is doing the job it is meant to.

Child centered education is the need of the hour and that’s what we are following. At D. R. Amin Memorial School the focus is not only academic, physical and mental development but also on emotional, social and cultural development of a child. The values like honesty, patriotism, respect, love and many more are not just taken as topics of discussions and debates in the school but the students are provided opportunities to actively participate in different competitions, celebrations and functions, thus making it a way of life.

My college years, in the field of Human Development and Family Studies made me realise that I wanted to pursue my career in education. Interaction with students, creativity and love for new challenges in the work environment have worked as fuel to my passion. Though I have been in this field for almost 24 years, each day unfolds and brings with it an opportunity to learn, innovate and improvise.

In 1951 Vadodara had limited secondary level schools providing quality education. To bridge this gap, Smt Dhirajben Ramanbhai Amin, the Founder trustee, ventured into the field of education through Alembic Chemical Works.
