D. R. Memorial School (2011) is named after its founder trustee, the late Smt. Dhirajben Ramanbhai Amin.
The school is managed by Bal Utkarsh Society. Bal Utkarsh Society is a well known trust established in 1969 under the aegis of Alembic Limited, the oldest pharmaceutical company in India, over 100 years.
Alembic Limited already runs other reputed English and Gujarati medium schools in Vadodara, affiliated to Gujarat State Secondary and Higher Secondary Board.

Bal Utkarsh Society, believes in a no compromise, complete education for children. The trust believes in providing a happy, nurturing environment for development by forming a strong partnership with parents to ensure that the children reach their full potential.
D. R. Amin Memorial School has a big multipurpose playground, where students are encouraged to play a variety of sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Handball, Basketball and Athletics. The school also has a skating rink.
Co curricular activities like Art, Craft, Music and Dance are an integral part of the school curriculum with dedicated rooms to facilitate diverse interests.
The modern, well-equipped science laboratories are user friendly and provide important support to the curriculum. The school has also invested in a state of the art computer lab with a network of computers, the latest software and internet connectivity. Smart boards too have been installed till class VIII. A spacious and well stocked library with a huge reference section of encyclopedias and reference books, magazines and publications for research purposes.
An open air theatre with a seating capacity of 2000 located in the heart of the school also acts as a natural hub during recess and playtime. We also have two indoor AV auditoriums for in-house activities and seminars.
From the academic year 2018-19, the school has a separate building for K.G Section with classes Foundation to K2 in that building.
Keeping the safety of children in mind, the building has a separate entry and exit gate only for kindergarten children.
It has two outdoor play areas. One is a sand area and another is a lawn area. Both have different equipments.
The Kindergarten building has all independent facilities like the Funarium (indoor play area), reception, infirmary and an AV room over and above their class rooms.
Children have a separate brunch-room so that they can continue to enjoy the nutritional snacks.
A feather in our cap is that the school has won the International School Award (ISA) for two consecutive terms 2014-17 & 2017-20.
The school works hard on its mission to guide students to become life long learners and responsible citizens ready to face the challenging world.
